- 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces )
- 1 can tomato paste (6 ounces)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil extra virgin
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
- ½ teaspoon onion powder optional
- ½ teaspoon sugar optional, to cut acidity
- 1½ teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for heat
Add ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the tomato sauce and tomato paste, then mix until well combined.
Season: Add Olive oil, garlic, Italian seasoning, onion powder, sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir well until fully blended.
Taste & adjust: Add more herbs or a splash more olive oil if needed.
Chill (optional): Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes to develop flavor—or use it immediately if you’re short on time.
