Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1⅓ cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven: preheat the oven to 350F or 180C, lined the baking sheet with baking paper, parchment paper, or silicone baking mat, and set aside.
  • Make the dough: melt the butter and allow it to cool slightly. Then add all the ingredients into a bowl and mix to form a dough.
  • Shaping the dough: use a small ice cream scoop or a spoon to scoop the dough onto the baking tray. Use a fork to press down gently on the dough.
  • Baking the biscuit: bake the biscuits in the preheated oven for about 10- 12 minutes or until golden brown. Allow the biscuit to cool in the baking tray for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling wire to cool completely.
  • Decorating: decorate the biscuit with sprinkles before baking or dipped the baked cookies in melted chocolate for a perfect dessert.
  • Serve and enjoy!
