Pomegranate Lemonade

This fall season, make this pomegranate lemonade as an appetizer for your celebration. You will love the sweet taste of the fresh pomegranate juice mixed with lemon juice and a bit of sweetener.

- 240 ml (1 cup) pomegranate juice (2 whole pomegranates)
- 60 ml (1/4 cup) fresh lemon juice
- 45 g (3 tbs)p granulated sugar
- 2 cups cold water use ½ cup for the simple syrup
Add the pomegranate seeds or arils to the blender and blend on high until the seeds are partly crushed. Strain the pomegranate to extract the juice and set aside.
Make a simple syrup with 3 tablespoons and ½ cup of water. Add the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is dissolved. Take it off the heat and allow the syrup to cool.
Extract the lemon juice using citrus juice or handheld juice. Strain and set aside.
Mix pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and syrup until blended. Strain the mixture into a jug or pitcher and add the additional cups of water or sparkling water. Stir well.
Fill a large glass or pint mason jar with ice, lemon slices, and pomegranate seeds. Fill to the top with pomegranate lemonade and enjoy
