Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • ½ tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Honey lemon pepper sauce ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • cup honey

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400° C
  • Prep the chicken wings if they are not already prepared. Cut the chicken wings into drumette and wingette,
  • Place the wings on a cutting board covered with a paper towel. Use extra paper towels to blot the wings as dry as possible. Transfer the chicken into a medium bowl, then drizzle the oil over the wings and massage the wings for the oil to cover the wings.
  • Mix the seasoning and sprinkle on the wings. Toss with a spatula until the wings are evenly coated.
  • Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Bake the chicken wings in the preheated oven for about 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Make Honey Lemon Pepper Sauce
  • In a small pan, combine honey, fresh lemon juice, and lemon pepper seasoning.
  • Whisk to combine and set on medium heat to cook until the sauce thickens. Take the sauce off the heat.
  • When the wings are done, bring them out of the oven and pour the glaze over the wings. Toss with a spatula until all the wings are evenly coated. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve.

Notes

Make-Ahead Instructions
To make the Lemon Pepper Chicken Wing recipe in advance, follow the first four instructions. That means seasoning the wings and baking or air-fry and allowing them to cool completely. Then store them in an airtight container and keep them in the refrigerator.
When ready to serve, place the wings in a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until heated through. Prepare the honey lemon pepper sauce according to the instructions. Add the sauce to the wings and toss with a spatula until evenly covered.
